How does PROVOKED membership work?
PROVOKED offers four membership levels:
Reader (Free) – Access to our Thursday Edition and all published articles.
Member (Monthly or Annual) – Full access to Sunday Edition, live gatherings, book club, and additional benefits.
Founding Member – Everything in the Member plan, plus exclusive Founders benefits and permanent recognition on The Founders Wall.
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account dashboard.
What is the Sunday Edition?
Your weekly members-only newsletter, landing every Sunday morning in your inbox. Every issue is built around one Big Idea you can walk away with and want to share and actually use—plus the cheat codes, shortcuts, and honest product reviews that make real midlife life easier. Dupes, beauty hacks, quick recipes written like a real person made them, wellness tips that work. Useful, funny, and shoppable.
What are Quarterly Live Gatherings, and are events included in membership?
Paid members receive access to live online conversations with Susan each quarter, including discussion, behind-the-scenes insights, and live Q&A.
Quarterly live online gatherings are included in paid membership. In-person events may require a separate ticket purchase, but members receive priority access and, when applicable, special pricing.
Do live gatherings get recorded?
Yes. Recordings are available to members who cannot attend the call.
How does billing and renewal work?
Monthly memberships are billed every month. Annual and Founding memberships are billed once per year. All paid memberships renew automatically at the rate in effect at the time of renewal unless canceled before your renewal date.
You’ll receive reminder emails in advance of any renewal charge. Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins. If your payment method cannot be processed, you’ll be notified and given the opportunity to update your information.
Will I be notified before my membership renews?
Yes. You’ll receive email reminders in advance of your renewal date so there are no surprises. Renewal emails clearly state the membership level and renewal amount.
Will my membership price ever change?
Your renewal rate remains the rate at which you joined unless you change tiers. If pricing changes for new members in the future, your existing rate will be honored as long as you remain in the same tier.
Do you offer refunds?
Because PROVOKED membership grants immediate access to digital content and live programming, we do not offer refunds once a billing cycle has begun. If you have a concern, reach out—we’ll always do our best to help.
Are memberships transferable?
No. Memberships are non-transferable and tied to the account holder.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You may cancel your membership at any time through your MemberPress account dashboard. Your benefits will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
Yes. You can switch between Monthly, Annual, or Founding in your account dashboard.
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date. Memberships are billed for the full term selected and remain active through that billing period.
What happens when Founding Membership closes?
Founding Membership is available to join through December 31, 2026.
After that date:
– New members will not be able to join at the Founding level.
– Existing Founding Members may renew or change tiers.
– All Founders will retain permanent recognition on The Founders Wall.
Is The Founders Wall permanent, and can I choose how my name appears?
Yes. Once your name is added to The Founders Wall, it will remain there permanently—even if you later downgrade or cancel your membership.
Founding Members may choose how their name appears on The Founders Wall, including full name, initials, or an anonymous listing.
Why is PROVOKED membership paid?
PROVOKED is 100% women-owned and independent. Membership directly funds professional women writers over 50 and keeps our voice free from outside investors and corporate control.
How do I access members-only content?
Members-only content is available when you’re logged into your PROVOKED account. Sunday Edition and event links are delivered via email and are also accessible from your account dashboard.
I’m having trouble accessing my account. What should I do?
Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to reset your password. If you’re still having trouble, contact us at support@provokedmagazine.com.
